Who are the In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) Advisory Board, and why do WE need to hear from YOU?
Who we are: The IHSS Advisory Board of Santa Clara County is a state-mandated body composed of IHSS consumers, community advocates, and personal care assistants. The IHSS Advisory Board discusses, advises, and makes recommendations for improvements to In-Home Supportive Services in Santa Clara County.
Why we need to hear from you: It is simple, because we want to make sure we are doing the best job we can to meet the growing needs of the IHSS community. Your input helps guide the recommendations presented for changes and gives us opportunities to share success stories.
We also want to know what you are interested in for outreach. Would you like more educational opportunities, such as a conference about all things IHSS? Your input is invaluable.
The IHSS Advisory Board meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. You can join us in person or via Zoom.
